Disneyland fireworks will return to a weekends-only schedule starting Monday, now that the spring break crowds have subsided.

For about five weeks, the park shot off fireworks every night because of increased tourism during the busy spring break period. School vacations usually run anywhere from mid-March to after Easter. During the slower winter and spring seasons, the show only is held on weekends.

Disneyland now is running the "Remember Dreams Come True" show, which originally was created for the park's 50th anniversary. Fireworks next show at 9:30 p.m. Friday.

The summer fireworks, called "Magical," is scheduled to return next month, according to the Disneyland schedule. Nightly shows are expected to resume in June.

Other changes to the nighttime entertainment schedule:

Fantasmic!, a water and character show along Disneyland's Rivers of America, will run nightly through this week. Starting next Monday, Fantasmic! also will return to a weekends-only schedule.

ElecTRONica, a nighttime extravaganza based on the "Tron: Legacy" movie, ended its run Sunday at Disney California Adventure. The park will host no dance and performance event for two months.

Mad T Party, a nighttime party based on Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland," officially begins June 15 at Disney California Adventure.
